3/4way to Hell

I bought textbooks today. All $350 of them. Not much, you say? One is missing and the rest were found used. The missing book will be added as soon as I resort my class schedule – which somehow has three of four classes right on top of one another. That is going to be a rather hard semester trying to be in 3 places at once.

The current lineup:

  • 18.02 Calculus II, Multivariable Calculus, etc. I got out of .01 by means of AP test.
  • 8.02 Physics II, i.e. Electromagnetism. Got out of .01 by the AP test also. I decided to avoid the .012 and .014 versions of both  courses as they entail more work for the same credit – something I’m not keen on if I’m not going to be a math major.
  • 4.605 Introduction to the Theory and History of Architecture (pending, schedule conflict). For some reason, MIT still makes you take humanities class (I thought that garbage was left to Hahvahd?). Naturally, I pick something not too human.
  • 3.091 Introduction to Solid State Chemistry. With its focus on the multitude of engineering applications of solid state chemistry, I decided this was better than straight up chemistry-chemistry.

Currently, physics, calculus, and architecture require me to be in 3 places at once. This will be solved shortly – there are many different sessions.
