I think I taped my database back together successfully. There may be little things missing, out of place, or not formatted properly (for example, I notice some special Unicode characters didn’t import properly), but the majority of the site should be operational again.

Back to the lab again…
Well, that was certainly the most unproductive break I have ever had. But now, after 3 weeks of slow-cooking in suburban decandence, stranded away from my ecological niche, I’ll be heading back. Time to check out how much of a wreck MITERS is from the 2 or 3 simultaneous IAP programs that it’s hosting. Hopefully it isn’t one.
Continuing the drainage of my Atlanta cruftpile, I’ll be bring back with me a few things that have been on my mind for the past few weeks. Things like this cacknormous truck starter motor, a 4″ aluminum round billet, and a stack of 125mm scooter wheels to continue the wheelmotor experiments. Also, a curious induction motor and alternator from a Honda motorcycle.
These things totaled around 60 pounds, so Fedex is now in charge of them. I spent more on shipping and packing than getting all of those things in the first place. Sigh.
Off to Cambridgeshire!
