I took an opportune moment of inspiration to upgrade the site to WP2.3. I think this is the quickest I have applied any update, ever.

 

Etotheipiplusone.net 1.0 ran WordPress 2.0 forever before I put it down.

 

Next step is to find a good fixed-width style and mix it up.

It turns out that my site still is dysfunctional on 1024. I might take the opportunity of a new WordPress release to just strip the whole-page width style and get a more bloglike layout.

Or stop fumbling CSS at 4AM.
