But now, after 3 weeks of slow-cooking in suburban decandence, stranded away from my <a href=\"http:\/\/miters.mit.edu\" target=\"_blank\">ecological niche<\/a>, I&#8217;ll be heading back. Time to check out how much of a wreck MITERS is from the 2 or 3 simultaneous <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mit.edu\/iap\" target=\"_blank\">IAP<\/a> programs that it&#8217;s hosting. Hopefully it isn&#8217;t one.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing the drainage of my Atlanta cruftpile, I&#8217;ll be bring back with me a few things that have been on my mind for the past few weeks. Things like this <a href=\"\/pics\/truckmotor.jpg\" target=\"_self\">cacknormous truck starter motor<\/a>, a 4&#8243; aluminum round billet, and a stack of 125mm scooter wheels to continue the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etotheipiplusone.net\/?cat=28\" target=\"_self\"> wheelmotor<\/a> experiments. Also, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etotheipiplusone.net\/pics\/moter1.JPG\" target=\"_self\">curious induction motor<\/a> and alternator from a Honda motorcycle.<\/p>\n<p>These things totaled around 60 pounds, so Fedex is now in charge of them. I spent more on shipping and packing than getting all of those things in the first place.
